My PhD is now bound and completely finished, and so I have also uploaded everything to the PhD page of this site. You can read it as a PDF, and you can download zip files of the discs that go with it. I decided to make my PhD available online in order to make it accessible to more people.

New EDM/Footwork Tunes

A couple of new EDM bits. These are quite footwork inspired. I have been listening to a lot of stuff like Traxman lately. Crash Test samples Konono no.1 and combines it with Gabber and Footwork influences. It’s a piece which I may develop further. The other tune is a bit of a messaround! I used Rob Papin’s Punch on both of these, it is a fantastic piece of software.

Mandelbulb 3D

Started experimenting with Mandelbulb 3D. This is an excellent piece of software which allows you to render fractals in 3D, including animation. There are some excellent examples on youtube. Below are some early attempts…

And second, a clip from my Atomizer piece in the 60×60 Dance show by Robert Voisey. This is from the St. Louis performance in 2010, the performers do a great video-game themed dance. To see the full show, go to the HEC TV page.

Astraware Word Games Video

Just added a quick video screen capture of Astraware Word Games. I produced the sound effects and music for this, with different music tracks to match the mood of the different graphical themes. If you have a Nook Color you can buy this here. It will also be coming out on a bunch of other devices.

Okay, so I’m gradually sorting out some the content which was on the old site… i’ve added a page for software. This contains information about my Max/MSP projects, you can also download some of the patches. I still haven’t got round to compiling some of them as applications for Mac, but when I do I’ll add the links. For now you mostly have links to the download them for Windows.

I’m still considering whether or not to have a DJ mixes page. In the mean time if you want to hear my old mixes then sneak through to the old site. Or you can hear some of them on mixcloud.

Well the old website wasn’t designed so well, so i’ve gone over to WordPress. If you are looking for the download links which were on the old site you can still find them here. I will be adding some more pages to this in due course with my max/msp patches available for download, and some other treats.

If you want to download anything, you will need to add /2010 into the link address e.g.
